Frequently Asked Questions
We will target your concerned veins with non-invasive laser energy. The laser light will disable the vein, causing it to collapse and gradually fade from view without breaking the skin.
Since the laser is non-invasive and no skin is broken during the treatment, there is no downtime with laser vein treatment. You will be able to resume your regular day immediately following treatment.
There is minimal to no downtime with sclerotherapy. Immediately following your treatment, we will ask you to walk to encourage normal blood flow. In the weeks following your treatment, you will also need to wear compression stockings to minimize swelling and speed healing.
Generally speaking, sclerotherapy is an ideal choice for larger varicose or spider veins on the legs. Smaller surface veins on the face or legs, such as broken capillaries or telangiectasia, are often suitable for non-invasive laser vein treatment. We will help you determine your ideal course of treatment during your consultation.
